值此“2026双人围棋世界嘉年华”举办之际，我谨代表中国驻日本大使馆表示衷心祝贺。

　围棋源出中国，传于世界。数千年来，围棋跨越山海，成为连接不同文明、增进相互理解的重要桥梁。双人围棋在坚守传统围棋竞技精髓的基础上创新发展，更倡导协作、尊重与包容，映照出围棋运动不竭的生命力。

　本次活动作为“第20届爱知-名古屋亚运会”组委会许可的“公认文化项目”，汇聚众多顶级棋手，既是一场高水平的智力角逐，也是一次意义深远的人文交流。相信此次盛会将进一步推动围棋运动的全球普及，促进国际友好往来，深化文明互鉴。

　On behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Japan, I would like to respectfully offer my heartfelt congratulations on the holding of the Pair Go World Festival 2026.

　The game of Go originated in China and has spread around the world. Over the course of several millennia, it has crossed over mountains and oceans, and, by linking up different civilisations, has become an important bridge deepening mutual understanding. While carefully inheriting the essence of the traditional competitive game, Pair Go has accomplished a new development. It profoundly embodies the spirit of cooperation and respect and broad-mindedness of Go, and at the same time it reflects the endless vitality of this game.

　Many top professional players will assemble to take part in this event, which has been certified as an Official Cultural Programme by the Organizing Committee of the 20th Asian Games (Aichi-Nagoya 2026). It will be a high-level intellectual competition and at the same time provide an opportunity for meaningful human cultural exchange. I am convinced that it will deepen international goodwill and further advance mutual understanding among different civilisations.

　I would like to offer my heartfelt prayers for the resounding success of this festival.
